Now I have made the following:
directly after boot I have started browser and I have root access and then I added sleep 30 in rcsgo located in mtd_rwcommon.
Now I have root access two times after booting :-)
It looks GREAT!
Thx a lot once more.

You can check for example USB upgrade filename for your TV model on Samsung website.
F5xxx/6xxx=MST, F7xxx/8xxx=non-MST

I have only started browser before starting SamyGO as suggested.
And after having root added sleep 30 in rcsgo.
That's all.
Ahhhh: I have to start samygo two times because without adding sleep 30 I didn't have root after rebooting tv.

Wonderful! I really got ftp access on my UE55F6500 with FW 2102 on MST. Initial FW unknown, first update applied was: T-MST12DEUC_1120.0.exe.
The steps described must be followed exactly; first try failed because first step was overlooked.

unfortunately decrypting my recordings does not work:

Code: Select all

 Connecting to 192.168.2.125:21 .. Success
 Querying recordings on TV ...
Verifying telnet access to 192.168.2.125:23 .. Success
 Caching 20141206100029.inf
All recordings on USB listed. Waiting for user.
 Dropping DRMDecrypt to work-folder.
 Uploading / Executing KeyDropper .. ..
Unable to retrive 20141206100029.key. No point in continuing copy-process..
Process FAILED somewhere down the road for 20141206100029.srf.
 Removing DRMDecrypt from work-folder..
All recordings on USB listed. Waiting for user.
Operation finished .. Waiting for user..
Do I need a different samyGOPVRDecoder.exe or some additional patches?

Great work anyway, thanks! SamyGo lets me learn new things.

Code: Select all

chmod 755 /mtd_rwcommon/samyGOso

Hurra - es funktioniert! Great - it works! Thanks for the hint and the great job of the SamyGO developers!

Successfully retrieved and decrypted a 1:42 part of a 7 hours "Mittschnitt" (concurrent recording) of a great report on one of the biggest explored caves in Europe, the H?lloch.
The report would become available on srf.ch in January, but I would like to cut my own recording. The concurrent recording on my sat-receiver-pvr was incomplete, stopped after 3 hours -this part was retrievable by pc2box.exe.

Kind regards & thanks a lot.
