Any update on the HU series? Can we try anything, even if it is low level? I don't mind helping out testing new things or if they are not packed. I do use a gentoo distro on my home box so I am familiar with the basics...
Thank you

Thank you sec. This is actually very good news. If you need any tests done at some point on a real tv, even if the modules are not packed together let me know.
Than you again. I donated again and I am thinking to make this recurring considering the effort you guys put in.
Thank you

BTW did you try new "Auto ON Timer" method ? It is especially important to DISABLE options in the first post!!! Without it won't work

Yes. I did auto-turn on from the tv timer in settings. I know you mentioned there is one more way to do so but i am not sure what the full steps are. I just re-secheduled my tv to start 2 minutes later and i did have quick start set to on like per the instructions.
Thank you

Do you have "instant on/off" options ?

I have "Samsung Instant On" set to "On" under menu System>General.

Well try setting it to OFF (and any other setting from this menu) then try both "on Timer" and normal tv restart

Maybe something will work

Will do. Another thing that might be wrong. It doesnt' look like I can record to a hard-drive. And I did hear that a recording device is needed for the root to work? Whenever I plug any hardrive to the usb port I am not asked to format it for recording. This is a North America model. Maybe I need to enable recording first somehow....
Thank you
