Hi! I got my new UE48H8000 last week, and I donated a little tip even before trying to change anything on my tv: THANKS FOR YOUR SITE! Only the documentation is worth at least 10$ per user.
Today I tried (hard) to run SamyGO with no avail... I have T-GFPDEUC-1180.4, is it possible to hack it?
Just in case this is useful for anyone anyone, I disabled OTN and OTA before plugging it to the network: in the ADVANCED menu enter code 0000, and look around.
Thanks in advance!

I always see errors like this in samygo.log:
EXT4-fs (loop3): warning: mounting fs with errors, running e2fsck is recommended
This is about errors in samyext4.img. First I thought these errors were caused by crashes and reboots of my own TV, but some errors are obviously present already in the original samyext4.img. Are these errors intentional and needed for the rooting, or are they simply errors and should be repaired? If they are real errors, could they cause any problems?

Ehhhh. I can't understand why so technologically advanced country disabled PVR, still doesn't use NFC in credit cards and is so slow on implementing chip credit cards

No comment. I agree with the comments haha. I use NFC though and I usually tap my cc. However the copyright drama from USA is starting to extend to Canada as well and this is annoying.
I will play with the tv recording function shortly. I don't have many expectations though but I will keep you posted. Btw. I will make another donation since you guys still keep it up.
Thanks

Still wasn't able to get PVR working. I did set the PVR Option to ON from Off but it doesn't work. I did use the record from a different remote from the phone but record just starts the recording function on the Cable box. If I switch to tv input and I press record it says unavailable.

I also have another small question: I did reset the tv to factory settings. Skype needs to be installed. The version it installs is 4.141211. Is the exploit depending on the version of skype. Do you need to code different versions depending on which version it is?
Thank you
