Not yet, but right now I don't have time to do rooting over and over again. To get the sleep done quickly, I would prefer to have a description so I can do it when FTP is running, so I don't have to wait until you respond

Description is "somewhere" in one of the previous posts

Approximately last 2-4 months, but I would try using search engine

Unfortunately, Extras section is not referenced in search engine

Is that it? Sorry I didn't follow very closely, and especially I didn't see anybody reporting success. Anyway, root is first needed to edit file, isn't it?
I am willing to edit first post but I first need to know what really works.

Yeah believe it was necessary to add
as a second line of rcSGO... best is to use vi directly on TV... It should be (IIRC):
and then rest of the file

So TV will wait for WiFi and slow usb

Ahh and if you want to edit it on PC (and not on TV ) you CAN'T use notepad

Notepad++ is only solution allowed... Best is to do it on TV IMHO

If I understand correctly it can solve an "occasional root" issue, but is it possible to edit file if no root at all? If yes, where?
(I could check myself, but as you already know it...

)

Yeah you would have to edit rcSGO file in data.zip in SamyGO-F-SM-MST-Fix-USB.zip. I didn't change it by default because so little people have an issue what that and required sleep time is SOOOO BIG that I don't want to make it default option

Ok, I'm going to try to summarize that, but I'll first wait for at least one success report, not to weigh down first post uselessly
@lolametro
No idea why you can't Factory reset, maybe unlocking of extended service menu is needed? Did you try at least Smarthub reset?

Hello to my favorite Hackers, your work is great!
This works fine on my UE55F6500 with FW2102 - I am happy with it.
There are 2 slightly annoying behaviors however:
- the program guide may hang when started before SamyGO has fully loaded (led blinking on usb stick); on remote only power off works then.
- the channel info box is shown ~5 seconds on every channel change (instead of SamyGO picture mentioned?).
should I reduce timeout mentioned in other posts?
This is not a problem; I can remove the SamyGO usb stick during normal operation and even for recording, and start TV with SamyGO usb stick for key dropping or recording retrieval.
Thank you.
