If the AutoStart file is supposed to be empty, what else can I try to make it work? I am not sure how to access any logs because the scripts that start FTP, Telnet, etc. are not being run to start these services.

Messages during rooting procedure means that everything is alright but it is not.
No real root, not possible to make transfers via ftp, but PVRdecoder works. Also
it seems there now is a network scanner/sniffer running on the TV ... sending UDP packets
to port 15600 from different ports on TV without interrupt.

Any ideas?

"PVRdecoder works" means device rooted. Telnet and FTP HAVE TO WORK

Are you joking? Of course the file is on the pen drive, otherwise I wouldn't be here trying to figure out where the real problem lies.

Then the file is broken and/or you didn't attach usb with recordings

No, I know about that trick with the recording usb; and the file isn't broken either, because the pen is the same which I used when I rooted last month. I've left it untouched for this reason. Plus, I've tried with the newly and updated files, but the result doesn't change.
Please exclude also any issue related to a defective pen drive or to software update.

No we cannot EXCLUDE

Rooting ONLY launches what you have ON USB. If fails AFTER that the problem HAS TO BE with the usb itself or with data ON usb. There is just no other way

I have followed all the directions and the runSamyGO.sh does not run. It appears that the Skype exploit does not work for my version. Is there another file that I can change to run the runSamyGO.sh script?
