I tried the Instructions for E-series on a BD-E8300, which according to the menu has firmware 001019 (I guess it is B-ECBHRDEUC-1019.0, as this is downloadable on the official site). So, I formatted a USB drive as FAT32, uncompressed it on in preserving the directory structure, downloaded 128mb.xfs and copied it in the directory InstallSamyGo/data (which already existed and contained some files: those files are still there). I turned off the Blu-Ray player, plugged in the USB drive, turned it on again and went to Smart Hub. The installed applications were the same as before (Web browser, Dailymotion, Vimeo, YouTube etc.), no added "Install SamyGO-E".

Maybe the firmware is too new? Something else to check?

I?ve got a SmatTV F6750 with T-MST12DEUC-2113 on it. is it possible to root it and get access with ftp and ssh? Or need i to downgrade this FW? (is this possible for this model?) Thank you for your reply. #newbie

For T-MST12DEUC:
FW must be < 1120 for "Skype replacement" root.
Downgrading only from "donor"'s SamyGO.
