i have samsung BD 5300 i was updated it (stupidly) to firmware 1031.1 ... i did factory default ... restart it ... nothing happens... the firmware still the same ..
hope some one can find us a solution soon

BD-Player Reset:
1.) Push "Menu" on the remote
2.) Push 5 seconds "Stop" on the Device Panel
=> i: All seetings will be deleted with reset
It spends about 1-2 minute - than the BD restarts.
=> Firmware is still the same....no change....
I try to install a firmware (from samsung Download) update with USB => BD does not recognise the Firmware-Patch.
How can i go back to Samsung default factory firmware ??

1.) Software update
2. ) Samsung contact.
There is no menu-point in my BG-G6900 in menu-settings-system-reset....

That`s why i have a BD-D6900....
At least I found the menu point in Setup...but in germany the translation of that point is terrible ...it is not "reset" or something like that...they named it "zur?ck"...which is "back" in english.....if you see that menu item you would never think that this is a "reset" button....
