that's bad. Filesystem is important, because we need symlinking. Neither fat, nor ntfs support symlinks. Sure you can try other Linux filesystems eg ext2,ext4,riser fs or might rfs(samsung's extended fat).

well, no succes so far :(
I tried connecting a USB stick formatted as EXT2, EXT3, EXT4, XFS and ResierFS but the TV's player does not detect it. (It shows up only when formated as NTFS, FAT or FAT32). What is "might rfs"? And where can I get kernel modules for working with it on linux?

However, strangely enough, I tried formatting a USB drive by the TV for PVR function. The drive came out formatted in XFS with a few system files, but IT STILL DOES NOT SHOW UP IN THE TV'S PLAYER (just in the PVR application)! This leads me to a conclusion that the TV can mount these various filesystems but somehow blocks them from the player application.
