but did not know that trunk is an old stuff and development going in the branch.
trunk isn't "old" its a cut down and may more stable enviroment and you can also build kernel for nfsboot (i think ;-) )
the branch is more for desperade people for experimenting ;-)

i saw in some exeDSP also hardcodec path to

Code: Select all

/mtd_tlib/TestGame/DBowling/libDBowling.so
/mtd_tlib/GGame/DBowling/
/mtd_tlib/GGame/DBowling/libDBowling.so
/mtd_tlib/TestGame/DBowling/libDBowling.so
/mtd_tlib/TestGame/DBowling/

may it appears in menu if its present, didn't made any tests.
there are also similar function calls as to Game_Main:

Code: Select all

 /* Loading Widget Engine .So
         * WidgetInitPlugin
         * WidgetRunPlugin
         * WidgetCleanPlugin
         *
         * Loading Game So
         * DogMain
         * Game_Main
*/
may somebody like to experiment

Sorry - not old, ok. Well, I'm sure you know that typically stable stuff sits on a branch while the trunk goes higher and higher.
But no problem anyway, as soon a desperado knows which way to go.

A pretty hard nut on T-RBYDEUC. No problem with nfs boot and root itself, but
exeDSP doesn't feel comfortable on nfs root and after a while fails with page fault.
Finally I patched exeDSP not to start upnp web server. Then exeDSP works on nfs
if a HD channel is tuned or in content and wise link browsers.
Tuning SD channel emits page fault again, but I don't care.

Strings you've send are not in T-RBYDEUC. exeDSP is statically linked with 2 games
and I believe that dl-load is dead code in it (haven't found any reference to dl-load).

"SamyGO Firmware Patcher" from version 0.22 on can enable starting of a script /SamyGO/rcSGO from USB stick at TV boot.
It is mentioned to start a sh4 version of SamyGO Extensions, currently work in progress (not released binary, you can try compile svn branch-0-0-1)
Also note that arfix-sh (WiseLink video player aspect ratio fix) is included in patcher.

Thanks, Erdem!

I don't have experience on A series.I don't have one.
I think you needed to look A series wiki pages too.

1. You can look at SamyGO Firmware Patch Script to see changes. It doesn't have much A series code. I think v22 and v24 are same for A series. Open script on txt editor. There is a version log after license.
3. I don't know, As I remember, if there is no USB, telnet doesn't enabled automatically.
4. Don't know. Check it by your self, extract exe.img and look if it's patched.
5. AFAIK Yes, yes.
