Maybe it is possible to enable Home Network on your TV somehow or set allowed MAC addresses? Because, during initialization there's some security settings and it is possible that your TV has "higher" security settings by default than others (mine is LExxB650)..

Hmm, imo this problem will be related to the TV model, FW version or TV settings. Can anyone confirm the same problem for similar TV/FW?

Yes my tv LExxB650 and same problem when I use netcat, but your C program work properly and could send message to TV...
Please create a wiki page for description correct format of each message for sms, incomming call etc.
It's valluable information. I make this forum sticky for a while.

I think we needed to have "SamyGO Event" apps for iPhone and Android too. Any android/iphone developer here?

Is this something to be compiled or a script to be directly evoked? From which side? TV, phone, router?
It's just c source code which has to be compiled (in my case by gcc on debian) and executed, nothing more. Placed here as another possibility how to test sending messages - some people encoutered problems while sending their messages to TV. You can probably ignore it :)
I suppose/hope, it's just matter of time, when somebody will make something really usable..

Yes, that c program is good, I compiled from my computer (x86_64) and it works.
We can convert this program to "SamyGO Event Library" thats for using with ease.
So any CPU/OS architecture could send their messages to TV directly within library...
