More likely unstable root than real PVRdecoder issue...

The PVRDecoder "normally" wouldent fail like this ..
Your network might have problems ..
If you are using WiFi, please try connect the TV by cable, and make some new tests.

Then I would go with Zoelechats suggestion ... unstable root installed.
You could try re-installing your firmware ... You of cause saved a copy of it

Install it using USB-stick ...
Then re-install root, and cross your fingers for better luck this time

Then try the PVRDecoder again ...

At least for testing, you may try to disable completely your firewall. You can also try offline decoding if you find FTP transfer is too often failing...
If you can't manage to get out of it, it's still possible to use PVRtoTS or NoDRM for realtime decoding on TV level

First extract keys online in PVRdecoder (from tools menu->Extract all keys to CONTENTS...), should be already done automatically if you tried online decoding at least once..
Plug drive containing recordings to your PC and find a way to make it readable by Windows, mostly 2 ways:
-use a software such as UFS explorer to read it and copy whole CONTENTS dir locally.
-install ext4 driver for Windows to make it readable directly from explorer
Then go into PVRdecoder->tools->decode offline->select folder->CONTENTS
