I've been reading up on this and I've decided to help out and see if I can do anything to help you guys out, so I gave it a go on my Samsun UE48HU7500. This is a 4K tv but it should be the same as my previous UE46H7000.

All warnings aside OTN update is still on, since my ir blaster (samsung tv ir blaster with factory+3speed from wav file played from laptop) in not working in FSM menu it seems, although it was working on my older model. I decided to continue anyway

EDIT
Without the factory+3speed I was able to access the option in: Service Menu -> "Control" -> "MRT Option" -> "OTN Support" -> Off

Model: Samsung UE48HU7500T
Model Code: UE48HU7500TXXH
Firmware: T-NT14UDEUC-1030.2 / T-NT14UDEUS-1107

Installed skype from SmartHub, and signed in. Made sure the quick turn off option was off, and turned the tv off. Restarted and it gave me the message that skype was started. After that, i've inserted the SamyGO application and it installed correctly. Rebooted the TV, and I had no message from Skype anymore so, to my knowlegde samyGo injected succesfully into Skype.

Picture from install

But after trying to login to the tv with Putty, I received no connection on telnet port 23 or 3123 or ftp 21. Skype hangs on the splash screen. No logs on USB.

So i'm not totally sucessfully, this could be because of my firmware beeing 1030.2, or my specific firmware version. Hopefully u guys have some suggestions to check it out. Or if you want me to run some tests just let me know.

Your firmware is good. It's just that we don't yet fully support T-NT models... be patient :)
I do NOT support "latest fw" at ALL. If you have one you should block updates on router and wait for it to STOP being "latest":)
If you want me to help you please paste FULL log(s) to "spoiler"/"code" bbcodes or provide link(s) to pasted file(s) on https://pastebin.com Otherwise "NO HELP"!!!
If you want root DISABLE internet access to your device!!!!
DO NOT EVER INSTALL FIRMWARE UPGRADE !!!!

your model should be similar with mine. i have an UN65HU9000 which is the north american version. if you also find any other information please let me know. By the way, my firmware version is 1141. I did complain about the tv starting up at random times. As a result they changed the "one connect" box. I did turn off the OTN function and i hope the firmware won't update.

thank you

I have got the feeling that Samsung has done precautions...
Because of a constant instability, I resetted my TV.
I let the USB-Stick inserted.

After setting all up I went into SmartHub. Of course "some" bloatware are going to be installed.
Nothing unusual until now. I saw the "InstallSamyGO-H" but it disappeared and didn't come back again *as long as the SmartTV has internet*.
Well, I think that was foreseeable. I searched for skype and installed it. Good thing, the update status is still from 21st january.

I installed.
I started Skype.
I put in my login and checked both boxes down there.
I was able to log in.
Shutdown TV (USB-Stick still inside, TV has internet) and restart and wait for "Skype successful login".
Yay, there it is.
Starting SmartHub.
Skype is not visible, nor "InstallSamyGO-H".
So go on and install Skype, do the same thing as before.
Same result.
Shutdown TV, take the USB-Stick and restart.
Redoing all again and it worked. But before I exit Skype the first time and shut down, I restricted internet access.
Shutdown TV while Skype is running, putting in the USB-Stick and start the TV.
Everything is fine, "InstallSamyGO-H" is visible as Skype is.
Starting "InstallSamyGO-H" and all "worked" fine, like the first time I modded.
Still have to check for instability.

Notice: While I was doing all this, once I installed Skype and it disappeared (I was not fast enough to restrict internet).
But "InstallSamyGO-H" was still there. (I didn't notice Skype wasn't there because of all the bloatware.)
I started it and it only said that "Skype Autostart" wasn't there, but Skype seemed still to be there.

edit: Also something interesting, I was sometimes trying to remove the bloatware after Skype was installed.
While selecting multiple Apps there was a windows with "deleting app". Instead of Skype there was a greyed out "WebBrowser" after this.

At the end I can telnet to the TV, so yes it works.

But I had random reboots. I had to disable watchdog and now this is gone.
Still have issues, the TV isn't responding to the remote after some time.
A small issue for me since I use the remote only to turn on/off the TV :D

Good to hear. It's still pretty quick since I bought the tv last November. ;)
I'll wait patiently and hope I can get NoDRM working on my tv so I can use the recordings on my PC and other hacks.

Yeah NoDRM will work with your TV :) Remember that with H many things changed for first hack some people waited on this forum even six months :) Anyway if you have OTN Support set to OFF ( you might also change OTA Support to OFF) you are safe :)

Hmm, kinda difficult to achieve that since for recording you need EXT2 partition... Unless you create 2 partitions onto usb stick Image
After that the root procedure is complete, i copied the SamyGo directory (from the fat 32 usb) into the pvr usb, is not needed to get a different partition, fat32 is needed for the installation.
After initial rooting, to have one recording/rooting usb stick I had to create additional small fat32 partition (150MB) for rooting stuff.
Running root from recording partition (which is ext4 in my H5500) did not work.

I understand that after rooting only SamyGO directory is required and InstallSamyGO-H can be deleted to avoid displaying in Smart Hub ?

BTW: I can confirm successful rooting on UE48H5500 FW: T-MST14DEUC-2121.6
