I have 2 E5300 both stupidly upgraded to the latest firmware.
I tried to follow the instructions to downgrade my firmware but I get an HTTP error.
Changed DNS in both router (USR 9108) and BD but the BD and PC see only the local network and not the Internet.
Is there a way to fix this or alternatively to download the old firmware to USB and upload it from there?

if it's known that the firmwaredowngrade brick the device then logically the downgrade is disabled on samygo server for those version...

Default Settings -> no upate available.
DNS change -> Updade 001116

I have changed my DNS settings on both my router and BD 5700. Still will not locate new firmware. It's currently running 1031. Have cold booted both devices multiple times. I continue to get the No New Firmware msg. Using an older Linksys router running dd-wrt.

Any suggestions?

Gateway and subnet were left alone. Just changed DNS settings to 149.154.159.134 on router and player. DHCP left on the router. Should I set it to static?

I also have the BD 5700, current version 1030. Ive been trying to downgrade for 2 weeks now. Ive done everything the above poster has done over and over and i just get the , no new firmware. Please help.

I have BD-E5300 with firmware version BSP-E5300WWB-1011.1 i try to downgrade firmware but when i tipe DNS and try to upgrade it says that there is no internet connection...HELP!!

Hey folks. Not sure if I'm missing something here but is there a firmware downgrade for the bd-c5900? I have tried changing DNS server on router and device and still get.
"Cannot connect to internet". Any advice?
