So, can you please do a SamyGO patched FW for this device? I can be a guinea pig.
Hi Greenhorn, I'm having problems downgrading my bd-e6100 firmware. After turning off DHCP. Setting up the DNS in the forum instructions, power cycling the player and going through the online software upgrade option in the setup menu. A screen message states the firmware server is being scanned and rhen returns a message stating their is not software available. Are there any additional steps I try?

@Musky
There is no downgrade FW for bd-e6100 and bd-e5900 on the server.

Code: Select all

Maybe supported in future, but just if multiple users make requests:

    B-FIRBPEWWC
TV: UE40F7000 - T-FXPDEUC-1115.0 - SamyGO Extensions on F series
TV: UE55ES7000S - T-ECPDEUC-2003.4 - SamyGO tool Right from USB - no develop account is needed
TV: UE40C6710 - T-VALDEUC 3011 - Hacking TV over Hotel mode (C650 T-VALDEUC-3009.2)
BD-Player: BD-E6100 - B-FIRBPEWWC 1063.3 - rooted, no more Cin@vi@
NAS: CIFS: MAG250 NFS: Playon!HD

Dear Friend:

I tried your suggested steps on my Samsung BD-E5500 BR player, and in the step of finding a new update, it returns a message that there is no Update available. I changed the DNS to the one you suggested as well prior to this. Do you have any idea how to solve this? Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello everybody!
My name is Javier... I am writing from Argentina...
I am really disappointing with my Samsung devices... I have a TV 55D8000 and Bluray player BD-D7000... both are 2011 series.. and for storage, I use a Iomega cloud 2tb edition.
Before these, I used a Asus O!play media player, and I had no issues with lots of formats, mkv, .avi, .mpg, .ISO, .BIN, DVD structure, 5.1 audio files, etc... but now, the TV or the Bluray player cannot reproduce these formats, just .mkv (and not all the .mkv files), .mpg and mp3.. now, I know that I can not reproduce .iso, .bin, DVD structure, .flac, etc... really bad.

Today, I received a message when I started the BD-D7000 and there was a new firmware version, it is the 1013 from April/25. After the upgrade, I can not see the movie subtitles!!!! The bluray player does not recognize the .SRT files in the same folder than the movie... and before the firmware upgrade that function works without problem :(
I tried the "full reset" method explained here: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/Suppo ... _seq=48462 but after that, the firmware still says "1013"....

There is any way to downgrade/rollback the last firmware???

Thanks in advance for your help, and sorry for my not good english!

Javier

Can you please check if IP 93.50.115.48 has been blacklisted? I tried to set it on my BD but it says that there's no internet connection (of course with any other IP it works). It is the public IP used by an Italian provider to get out of a NAT.

Hi all,
I have a HT-D5500 and sucessfully down/upgraded 1016 to 1116

Movies seem to stream fine over the network without that nasty infection, but DVD's will not play now.
The DVDs are region 2 as I am in the UK, but the HT-D5500 is now saying im in the wrong region :(

I dont have the remote for the HT-D5500, I just use the tv remote or my iphone/ipad to control it.

How can I play my region 2 DVDs again without putting the infected firmware back on ?

Any help is appreciated.
