ok; I've done that.
and then I re edited my samba.init file and now I can see that the samba share is mounted (cifs module is loaded)
also I can see that a new device "SamyGO USB" is connected on TV screen.

But, I still have problems:

1. Telnet to 1023 port still says "/bin/sh: not found" and "invalid argument"
2. On the TV screen I see a banner on blue "Extensions-Pack is Nested on this Device !" and I can't remove it. How can I remove that ?
3. On the virtual USB , I can see my shared folders under "smb" but I can't go deep in the directories. At some point it says "Cannot read folder" on TV screen. And on SamyGO shell when I go into the mounted directory I can't see my files. On "SamyGO Virt. USB" screen it keeps saying "Loading..." forever.

How can Iresolve these ?

2. banner is removed when I press "return" on the remote. but it would be better if it never shows up. the boot t?me of the TV is already increased and my wife is not happyabout it :) she'll make me remove SamyGO :)

If I search for "Windows7" and "Home Network Group" I can only get to this thread:

http://forum.samygo.tv/viewtopic.php?f= ... 29&p=22237

I already have standard user based sharing. I'm not using "Home Network Group".
I can access that share from other Windows, Linux and Android devices with same user credentials.

Like I said, the share is mounted. But when I go deep (3 folders) , at some point it says "can not read directory"
I think this is not what's discussed in that thread.

For Ticker autostart problem re-sync widget (fixed 13/11/2011 15:30 CET) or:
connect over ftp and delete index.html file

Code: Select all

/mtd_down/widgets/user/SamyGO/index.html
