I have USB to RS232 Adapter. And I connect Tx to 2 and GND to 5. And my COM port settings are:
115200, 8, 1, None, None

your serial cable should contain ttl signal level converter. I hope you don`t use direct COM port connection???

With this cable, I can send firmware to satellite receiver via RS232.
I also try to connect two PC with this adapter. (I use USB port for one and RS232 for another) and they can talk via Putty terminal without problem.

Do you have any guess?

After I succesfully built a max232 circut I've just reached the debug console with 20089999 code. But I couldn't find the region hack part.

Do you have any idea at that point?
