Does this work for UE46F6740SBXXH with firmware 1117.3?
And if so, can I use this to have big colored subtitles with my MKVs?

Hello, i have installed Extensions on UE46F6500 and everything works find.
for enabling ssh i followed these steps:
mv 03_03_sshd.init.dis 03_03_sshd.init
reboot
Now, when i connect with putty to port 22, i want to login with username root and password SamyGO.
Then i get the error message Access Denied, when i login with telnet and execute passwd and change the password, i can?t login with these username and password through ssh.

Have anyone a idea ? thanks !

That did the trick for Samba. Also deleted the "smb_userdata" I had created. Going to try with NFS next.
No go on the NFS shares, but I accidentally upgraded to 1120 firmware today, and extensions still work.

Hi!
Several comments and questions ..

1) I agree with 'timi1982' ..... Login 'root' and password 'SamyGO' for SSH does not work ..

2) the situation is not clear to Windows Network. NMBD is absent. I do not understand how to install it. Using a network drive - not a good solution.

3) For inexplicable reason, NFS server (nfsd) is absent.. I need it .. I would like to know - is it possible to install it?

4) Which way to copy files from a network share on a drive connected to the TV? http://IP:1080/phpsysinfo/file.php not copy large files. Furthermore, the settings are not saved default folder. Always / dtv / www. File.php file is edited, but after rebooting the TV again restored.

I used SamyGO_test. My TV - UE40F6330.
While all.

Firmware 1120 looks interesting. Seems not available in Germany so far but I read in a US forum, that WIreless Display / Miracast seems to be improved with 1120. Do you have a chance to test? Anyway, good to hear that SamyGO is still working.

Which forum did you read about Wireless Display / Miracast improvements?

I have 1120 but Miracast support got worse for me since this version. I was using it with my Intel HD 4000 graphics laptop but it was always very finicky. People on the Intel forums figured out that you have to use their old Widi software to get it to work but since 1120 it is not working at all for me.

I just rooted my UE46F6500 and I can FTP into my TV from my Mac and Cyberduck.

Now I want to PVR onto my Synology but I am confused. How can I enable SSH? The web interface doesn't work.

Can you please tell me step-by-step instructions on how to do this?

Thanks.
