I couldn't find how to remove the SamyGO app, so I only reinstalled it again, but no success - everytime he says that the file are not DRM protected (tried also with some other registered clip, even longer, just to be sure...)
Can I look at some log or give some telnet command to try the sequence manually and identify where it goes wrong?

Here is the problem: I opened the "netcat monitor" of PVRDecoder, and this is the point:
Code: Select all
(3123) ---> df | grep -E "dev.*sd" | awk '{print ""X""$1"",""$2"",""$3,""$4,""$5""}' | sed 's/\/dev\///g' > /mtd_rwcommon/PVRDecoder.msg
(3123) <--- sda1 3907088 133484 3773604 3% | sdb 488178740 932764 487245976 0%
(3123) --> hexdump -C -n 8 /dtv/usb/sdb/CONTENTS/20150104083950.srf > /mtd_rwcommon/PVRDecoder.msg
(3123) <--
(3123) ---> df | grep -E "dev.*sd" | awk '{print ""X""$1"",""$2"",""$3,""$4,""$5""}' | sed 's/\/dev\///g' > /mtd_rwcommon/PVRDecoder.msg
(3123) <--- sda1 3907088 133496 3773592 3% | sdb 488178740 932764 487245976 0%
It seams that it's unable to get the hexdump answer. I tried gving the command by hand, and the file is created correctly.

Fair enough, - suppose I gotta talk to sectroyer about a hexdumping library

The Hexdumper in SamyGO seems to have problems ...
Could you try port 23, just for the fun of it ?

Ok, I definitely feel stupid... PVRDecoder using port 23 works well, the file is recognized as encrypted and decoded -
AND EVERYTHING IS OK!
I read so many pages in which is suggested to check telnet on port 3123 that I simply supposed that only that port was opened... definitely I'm stupid
Anyway, the problem is now solved, thank you very much!

If I had a penny for every open (but useless) port SamyGO opens op, I would retire in California

I think you should do as I suggested !
Talk to sectroyer ... he has got this brilliant plug-in for the TV.
It will decode recordings as they are recorded - in real-time .. and place the decoded file on a TV USB-device.
How close is that, to what you wish for ?!
Chances for the PVRDecoder to "grow" to store ANYTHING on the TV is somewhere between ZERO and NONE

Hi,
When i click on the 'H-Series' link on this post ("- Samsung SmartTV series E, F or H with root-access. Rooting-tool(s) here: E-Series, F-Series and H-Series"), it takes me to a page which says "You are not authorised to read this forum.".
Would it be possible to have the rooting tool for the H series?
Thanks
