port 23 wasnt working right, the other ports made it even more worse. on port 23 it was saying: trying to connect telnet, or something like that. then it was searching on and on, without success.

It works like this when your root isn't fully working
@LordByte did you check if your telnet module works with samygo_telnetd? I understand dropping netcat but at least support it

Hi everybody,
this morning I rooted my UE40ES8090 with firmware 2009 using the following way: http://www.eyeondemand.com/2013/05/03/h ... smart-hub/

Now I tested the FTP access with Chrome: ftp://192.168.2.24:21. --> Successful

Then I started the newest version SamyGOPVRDecoder v1.7.3.31.

It is working.
Everthing seems to be working very well.

Hi,
when I started with my answer above I checked the firmware. It shows version 2015'. Then I switched off the automatic FW-updates. A new check shows version 2009'
I don't know why.

1) I own a new UE48H6270 with Firmware 2130 ... I think there is no way to get root or SamyGo /SamyGoPVR to work?

2) I tried to install SamyGo through the skype workaround. It does not work. Now I removed SamyGo and Skype and re-installed Skype - but it stucks on the loading screen. How can I bring Skype back to life?

2) I copied the records to my local HD and tried to decrypt it with PVRdecoder (decode ooff-line files), but I cannot check them to decode - I think it will not work until I have connection to the TV and the key?

The Skype-root is of an older date. You need to use the "current" root that was designed for the H-Series.
And no, without connection to TV, you cannot get the keys, and thus the off-line decoder will not let you select any recordings.
Oh, and the off-line decoder is only an option on the E(S)- and F-models. H-model never expose keys to the PVRDecoder.
Only TV-side decoding is possible on H-models (so far).

The PVR-decoder will support H-series, if you get the "new" root .. But that is exclusive for donors. You need to become donor to this board to gain access.
