The tool dosent record anything. Your TV records "something", and the PVRDecoder allows decoding of that "something".
The actual source of the recording is of no consern, once the recording exists as a file on your USB-device (attached to TV).
The file gets decoded as a bytestream with no regards as to its content.

Successfully rooted my UE48H6270. It all works....

PVRdecoder works, connects to the TV and I can check the records for decoding. When decoding starts everytime the program says:

Examining DRM status for file ...
Recording is not DRM protected.
Lade 1,59 Gb von 1,59 Gb ..
File successfully retrieved.

Then the progress stops and I got the file as a ts-stream on HD. But it is not playable. Flying-Preview of the recorded srf-files produces the right preview-image in PVR-Decoder.
What do I have to do? Thanks a lot.

Seen this a couple of times by now, - Could you try setting port 23 for Telnet in the PVRDecoder settings and try again ?

Today I tried PVRDecoder on my T-ECPDEUC-1010.3 to copy captured TV contest show that I am appear as a winner contestant .

Unfortunatelly, SamyGO PVRDecoder does not work on my PC properly.

The tool finds TV, connects TV's FTP port but cannot connect/Verify the Telnet port from port 23.
But I can connect to TV from 23 port by telnet command when I tried.

The Log says:

Connecting to 192.168.1.215:21 .. Success
Querying recordings on TV ...
Verifying telnet access to 192.168.1.215:23 .. (2/50)
Caching 20150103154131.inf
Verifying telnet access to 192.168.1.215:23 .. (49/50)
There is a problem with telnet access to the TV. Please investigate port.

Hi,

Could you Start the PVRDecoder, and click the ABORT-button, when its doing the (xx of yy) telnet-thing.
Then open the Netcat-monitor from the tool-menu, and then open Settings, and just click OK (will force a re-scan).
Is there anything going on in the netcat-monitor at all afther this .. and could you paste the log here, please ?

PVRDecoder has no menu option like that on tools menu (tool button)
