You should disable OTN Support & block updates on router
BTW you want "Skype" or "Skype root" ?

Hi, I have C-Series, so i can only block upgrades by router, right?
I want to prevent skype-app for video-calling from uninstall
(like the did with youtube-app on C)

ok,
thanks sectroyer, i will look for upgrade-disable by dervice-menu on my C8700
(never done that, tv was rootet by a widget app)

not "upgrade-disable" but OTN Support to OFF. Anything else does NOTHING
