Normally, if USB does not have partition table, it has been recognized by TV as /sda. If your TV mounts USB as another letter than sda, nothing happens.

I do not know why your MediaPlayer does not show ext3, it is not necessary do do that. Hack is safe enough as safe is hacking at all..., we have few rescue ways if tv bricks to restore it (before you start - set rs232 to "debug" and Watchdog to "off" in SM). Anyway, Service is ready to change your mainboard if hack fails by warranty
Here is no your model tested and you can be the first. But i think you have right firmware and might you have success

i red your question once again and i was wrong. Your TV is hackable and you can have cifs and nfs shares to mount. sorry for my mistake. go to c series wiki and read how to do that thing
