I recently bought a samsung bd-dt7800 freeview pvr box, after going through all the settings I saw that it could record to an external hdd, I thought that it'd be great if I could then just watch the recordings on my PC. I suppose that was a tad optimistic, anyway using UFS explorer to copy the files across and then using DeSTRoi, I'm now able to decrypt and view all my recordings!! = v.happy
So I'd like to thank the creator of this wonderful tool, it really made it a simple task.
Many Thanks

hi,
i got a new samsung ue46es7090 when i copied all files with ubuntu to another usb-stick. then started destroi1.3.140.0 and decryption worked.
i tried mdb and drmget (i have no sammygo on my tv)
both with AF on and off.
all 4 times a ts file was created. but none of them played in an actual vlc or mediaplayer.
is there any hint you can give me?
ah and i also tried DRMDecrypt_Win3264 - no working file
then i tried to use tsMuxeR_1.10.6
but that said "cant detect stream type c:\file.ts

Hi,
Great Tool!!!!
Only for some files (had set wrong output stream on TV) I had unsupported audio cidec when playing the ts on TV. This was corrected by tsmuxer but this is a bit bad as now for several files video and audio are not synchronous anymore.
Has anybody a better idea?
some Versions run, other not

Hello,
hope my english is good enough for following thread:
First of all: thank You for this great tool. Now i can see the films on my second Samsung and on PC, and i can cut, archive them. That is fantastic.
My TV is a UE46C8790 on SAT with Sky-Card and UNICAM in CI+-, Firmware 2011/10/10_003011, no SAmyGo.
I record the films to a 1 GB SATA Harddisk from Samsung too
- which is in this Dockingstation:
http://www.sharkoon.com/?q=de/content/s ... kport-home
- and in my Win7 64 BIT PC is a SATA-HotSwap like this:
http://www.sharkoon.com/?q=de/node/1280
So i can grab the harddisk and put it in my PC without booting when ever i like. With the UFS Explorer
http://www.ufsexplorer.com/rdr_xfs.php?lang=curr i copy the films to my Windows Harddisk and then use DESTRoi.
First i tested DESTRoi 1.3.140.0 Setup. It runs very fast with 14-15 MB. But all films then have no picture, only sound (sometimes too fast like MickeyMouse-Sound). Tools to convert the films didn't help.
Now i use DESTRoi 1.2.4 Setup and all works great. But this version just decrypt with about 4-5 MB.
So thats why i wrote here: i think there is a bug in then newer version 1.3.140.0 Setup which comes in programming the decrypting doing faster.
Hope that help to find the bug and solve problems for other users.
Thanks again for DESTRoi !
UPDATE
I now tried v 1.3.140.0 BINARIES too and it runs well. So the bug seems is in the SETUP version.

Hi Guys!
Thanks to the author of Destroi and for figuring out the MDB key

I'd rather not swap the firmware of my D6500 right now (don't know where to look for the firmware, doesn't show up in remote's MENU)
Problem: Destroi (latest 1.3.140) worked well with a small (1 minute) file, taken from the USB disk, which plays fine with VLC.
But it doesn't seem to work with 1 hour long recordings, decrypted both with and without AF and w/ MDB key ; VLC opens the file(s), but shows only the first frame and then stops; the files can't be opened by virtualdubmod or by other conversion tools.
Anybody having the same experience?

hi, thanx for your nice progs.
i could descramble a small 350 mb .srf file using drmdecrypt_x64.exe , but crashes with large 14 Gb srf file afte 1m4 gb. got an lost sync error.
i am using a samsung le40c750 with last firmware.
is this tv compatible with SamyGo?
Is there an DRMGet for Windows?
Is there a tool for copying from xfs partion or key for ufs explorer 5.3 pro?
Destroi doesnt seem to work either.

unfortunately, it doesn't work with my tv (UE46ES6710, T-MST10PDEUC-1007.0). I can access the files with UFS Explorer, but if i decrypt the srf file with any technique, which is descripted here, the file could not be played.
Can Anybody help, or can i help to fix that issue?
Big Thanks!,

p.s. i'm a software developer

Hi, it work fine for me (btw thanks Sisternicky, great job!) but not with "vlc" (my laptop was too slow...) but very well with "Super"! You should try it...
I have a D5700 with the last firmware...bye

Hi everybody.
For some time, the Destroi app did not work any more on my PC (Win7) while attempting to decrypt PVR files recorded from Samsung UE32D6500VQ model.
More precisely, I started to have problems when I tried to decrypt the "test file" uploaded in this forum by another guy.
So, what I did to restore the correct working of Destroi was to completely delete all PVR files (.srt., .mdb and so on) and all PVR folders ("Contents", "Database", the "PVRDBVersion.mgr" file) from my PC Hard drive. At this point, I transferred again the WHOLE contents of my external HD drive to my laptop PC, that means that I copied again (in SLAX Linux environemnt) in my "C:\Samsung" folder the following folders: Contents, Database, PVRDBVersion.mgr and ALL the subfolders inclusing all PVR files and extensions.
At this point, when I launched Destroi app, first of all in the "Output Settings" window I setup the following folder for decrypted files: C:\Samsung\CONTENTS (the same folder in which you find the still encrypted files). In this way, Destroi app started to work again for me

.
Is this a random (unexpected) behaviour of Destroi app on my PC, or is there any issue related to "Output setting folder"? (or any issue with other files like "ace.dat" or "ace.log")?
Bye

Hi everyone and thank You guys for a lovely work on these applications!
I have a D7005 and have now decrypted my first recording using Destroi so that the resulting ts-file can be played in VLC media player on my PC (Windows). It works like a charm!
My question: If I want to play the decrypted recording once again on the TV either through USB-port or DLNA, the TV shows a message saying that the format is not supported.
What is the best way to change the ts-format to something the TV supports but still maintain the same quality?
(Is it for instance possible to just change the container without having to resample, and what application and settings would I use in that case?)
Best Regards
//Hek
