Every resync of this app deletes it first! So you don`t need to make any "clean" install.
Also here is yellow button in SmartHub (edit mode). Select wdget and go to Delete at the bottom...

Also if connected over ftp, delete /mtd_down/widget/user/SamyGO

Anyway, you shouldn`t get that error you have in any case.

If I connect with nc from a linux client, I get a blank screen. Then commands are run fine.
But telnet does not behave like that.
I didn't understand the difference.

I still couldn't figure out how to record PVR without encryption.

insert blank usb stick
if usb is not xfs formated, tv will ask you to format it.
if device is fast and big enough, it will be posible to record on it.
start samygo app.
switch to some digital channel.
press red (round) button on RC.

tv should ask you , how many minutes u want to record.
you confirm.
tv start recording.

when you stop , on usb in directory /CONTENTS/ you have numbered files, your stored pvr file is xxxxxxxxxx.srf, rename it to .ts, .mpeg or some other DVB MPEG format.

play somwhere.

I have an MStar D550. No SmartHub. Any hope for SamyGo in the future?

Also, I accidentally changed my region code and can't get into the service menu anymore. How do I restore my region?
