Code: Select all

localhost login: root

# cd mtd_rwarea/
# echo SWU_T-CHU7DEUC_003000_I02_ES000DS000_091111 >Version.0

and i see 2009/11/11_003000 in both places.
Thank you for both posts and further investigation, congratulations!
But, do you agree with me, that this only confirm, that content of Version.* file is not so important, only its structure, isn't it? Because, you have still fw version 3001 flashed as fw number one (and you have fw version 3000 flashed as fw number two), although Samsung's software upgrader/downgrader GUI now shows version 3000 for both.

Since this is too easy. I think ji035453 could easily make an application by slightly modifying "Telnet Enabler" to archive this hack automatically, right :) ?

Thinking before makeing saves lifes :)
It's good to search deeper after switching partitions :)
First, do you use CI or CI+ device. If your HW is CI+ than there nothing to do for now. Because manually flashing on CI+ doesn't generate required hashes and TV will restart itself via authld program..
But If you have CI device you are lucky.
Latest firmware upgrade clears uboot partition. So you needed to install u-boot to your TV first, than you can switch the partition. If there is problem, you can revert back via uboot.
:)
So how to update uboot? Auqdran has a profession about this, will show the path. Or you can also enter SamyGO IRC channel to get help. :)

Here is mine, flash this to your second partition. Please check if your second partition is empty. Dump it and open the dump with hex editor on your pc. Here is my hex editor
Aquadran said that all b series uboot is compatible except PCI device/ethernet like devices...
I wish it's works.
After please try to boot from USB key. If you are successful, than don't scare from making your TV bricked :)
