It does not work for me. I can install SamyGo and it says Step 1 OK and Step 2 OK, but i don't have FTP access and my Skype still works.
I have tried the process more then 10 times. I have tried 3 different USB sticks and all USB ports on the TV. I have uninstalled the Skype app and installed it again, i have reset the SmartHub and even factory reset the TV. It does not work for me, for what ever reason.

Anything else i can try?

Gosh, this may be a silly question. But does this work on F-Series Blu-Ray players?

It would be great to be able to mix and match widgets on the much cheaper Blu-Rays.

Webserver already setup and running. Module says it installs correctly and completes step 1 and 2 and says reboot after 5-10 secs. Skype seems broken (loads forever on blue background) which I understand is a good thing here. However, I'm not able to get an FTP connection

I have a problem with installing SamyGO on UE40F6400 v.1109
I read that it is possible to root this model version.

What I am doing:
1. Set up FileZilla Server on host 192.168.1.100:21.
2. Put SamyGO and widgetlist.xml to ftp home dir
3. Tested from 192.168.1.101 -ftp working
4. Login on TV to 'develop' account with no password (IP of TV is 192.168.1.102)
5. Set IP to 192.168.1.100.
6. Select Synch User Apps. Connecting ...
7. ERROR_DEVELOPMENT_002 and no logs on ftp server.

Where is a problem?

EDIT: Solved. Just use HTTP, HTTP, HTTP Server...
EDIT: No FTP ACCESS To TV!!

same problem got here.

my solution was to relog as develop and enter whole ip again to start sync.

when you relog go firt to your ip settings and you might see, that it is empty.

try it. f it didn't work. logoff from smarthub.

disconnect networkkable turn off tv. wait a few seconds out network back turn on and sign as develop and begin from the first step.

Filezilla is ftp server (as far as I know). You need a http server.

yea.

u can try xampp or thedarksmarttv there you might put your widgets in a special folder (didn's work for me) i used xampp with edited widgets.xml

see a few posts/pages before.
