No. On "newest" firmwares you can't disable OTN Support ANYMORE!!! :)

This is actually an interesting question, as there do seem to be some people running the latest firmware who are still able to disable the OTN Support option.

For example, I just bought a new F6270 on Amazon that shipped with firmware version 2710.3 already on it - and I can still disable the setting as well:

hi @all,

i have a problem. My samsung is a hu7200 with FW T-NT14UDEUC-1024.01. OTN ist off.
I have install skype set it to autostart and install samygo, in the widget was everything green. then i have set an startup time like in the howto.
but when the tv start everything is like always. one problem i have. in my menu under Menu->System->General-> "Quickly Power OFF Samsung - this option must be OFF" i don't have such a point. only instant on and this i have turn to off.

On T-NT you need root for latest firmwares:

i don't know what you meen. i have read the link but i don't understand, because in my fw the option in the menu to disable otn is there and i have disable it.

the only thing i don't have is in the normal menu general the option
