Thanks for the new version. I'm happy to report that it works well on Ubuntu 14.10 using Wine with PlayOnLinux.

Install "playonlinux", open it, click on the install button, click on "install a non-listed program" and follow the wizard. If asked, select 32bit, not 64bit (does not matter that your os is 64bit).

During decoding big file, pvr decoder crashed.

Is there anyway possible to use this tool on local files on my pc?
Because i fucked up my tv by updating to the latest firmware because some automated update nearly bricked my tv and only an update fixed it. But now samy go extension isnt working anymore and im not able to decode my recordings .
Any ideas ?

The Version 1.8.2.53 cannot connect anymore to my BD-F8500 and shows the error message "invalid name" - but when i start the version 1.7.3.31 it works with same ip and same telnet port "5023"..

Today my SamsungTV told me that it updated to the new version 2111. *yeah*
I asked: "are you f*** kidding me, i deactivated your auto updates many months ago, whats wrong with you?"

I looked at the settings and the auto update was activated (yes, it reset the settings itself -.-)
Now my UE46F6500 is on 2111 ...i have no access with your great software, but SamyGO says at the install Step 1+2: OK.

Any ideas ...is there a chance the get the root access back? (anyone with the same tv+fw?)
