[UExxH6400] "no subcontrast" in Standard Service Menu? (calibration)

Hello,
I have a UE46ES7000 and a UE50H6400.
In this ooooold post (
viewtopic.php?f=51&t=6052), by accessing the Standard Service Menu Mode (Info/Menu/Mute/Power) on my ES7000, I ccould access to some settings like that:
Sub Brightness 128
R Offset 128
G Offset 128
B Offset 128
Sub Contrast 134
R-Gain 161
G-Gain 128
B-Gain 164
Because display is too bad on my H6400, I've tried to make same changes (by default, all parameters for RGB and RGB gain were at 128 for H6400). But in Standard Service Menu from my H6400 I can't find nor "Sub Brightness" neither "Sub Contrast"!?!?
I did changes for RGB and RGB Gain but it's not sufficient... i would like to up my "Sub Contrast"
So someone knows where these 2 functions (Sub Brightness and Sub Contrast) are for this TV model?
OR/AND
Could someone give me what are RGB parameters on their H6400 TV?
Best regards
Kasi

So, nobody has a H6400 to tell me what are values for RGB-Gain ?

Such question rarely get answer, even now a
lib can do it automatically...
Maybe you can synthetize something from the dozen factory logs being already pasted, even if there's no H6400

Anyway, I had in hands several mainboards of same TV model, I can tell you that values are not mandatorily the same for a specific model, there must be a kind of factory calibration done by Samsung.

Thx for your reply. But my TV is not patched or rooted or something similar. Firmware was updated to last one so I can't flash it or install libs... hmmm I presume.
Anyway i'm not interested by flashing a TV (LOL). All my devices are flashed or/and rooted and/or modify but a TV (?), no interest for me.
Well, my question was not only to know default RGB values (I know that in same models, values could be differents, but for sure they are not at 128!
So maybe someone could tell me what values are on his TV ??). And I would like to know why I can't find Sub Contrast and Sub Brightness ? Or if there are present somewhere?
But if it's too difficult or too hard, forget that.
Regards

I didn't tell you to "patch your TV", it's up to you, but just to check logs people pasted in lib thread (
here for example, you'll find calibration values in each TV log)

Apart from this forum reason to exist, I don't see either

(people often take us for Samsung aftersale though...)
Randomly (amongst tons): save your factory settings before messing them up and being compelled to request then?
About sub-things, maybe by unlocking extended service menu? I know my lib can set them, otherwise no idea...

Ok, Merci Zoe, je n'avais pas compris ton lien.
Sais-tu si j'arrive au m?me Service Menu en tapant INFO puis MENU puis MUTE et POWER qu'en utilisant l'appli Android IR Service Remote ?
Parce qu'? priori je ne vois pas de diff?rence. Et pourtant aucune trace de ce maudit Sub Contrast !
Sinon sais-tu comment unlocker Extended Service Menu ?
(Thx Zoe, I haven't understood your link.
Do you know if i gget same Service Menu by pressing INFO then MENU then MUTE and POWER than using the Android App "IR Service Remote"?
Because it seems I arrive at the same place with same options, but there is no Sub Contrast option.
Otherwise, do you know how to unlock Extended Service Menu?)

There are differences between "normal" and "extended" service menu, much more options even if nothing different at first sight. Still no idea about sub-contrast though.

I don't know which Android app you're using exactly (there are many), but the principle is either:
-INFO+MENU+MUTE+POWER from TV OFF to access service, then FACTORY+3SPEED to "extend" it.
or (much simpler):
-INFO+FACTORY from TV ON in normal operating state (=not already in service menu) to directly access "extended" SM.
