UE42F5370 - mainboard upgrade possible?

Hello!
After two years one of my UE42F5370 "died": first one HDMI input couldn't be used, a few days later the TV reacts very slow, on screen menus were unreadable and it reboots after a few minutes. Mainboard defect I thought.
I've got an used mainboard from an UE46F6470 and replaced my with it. Starts well, perfect picture... but it still reboots! Because I have two similar TVs I was able to change power supply and T-CON-Board. But only without back light panel off (cable off) there's no rebooting. So my question: no way to upgrade for changing mainboards from Serie-5 to Serie-6?

maybe you will need to do some adjustment in Service Menu. (if you can enter there) change from F6470 to F5370 and try put the right Panel Type.

Hello!
It is not possible to change to F5370. Only to F55xx. After this TV still reboots. Also there is no 42" panel listed in SM of the new board.

Try to acces extended service menu and look for "BOM Model" something like this and there you can change exact the model

Well, I've made a factory reset before and now also have changed "BOM Model" to 5370 and now it's an "UE46F5370"...

... but after a few minutes the TV turns off and starts again.
I've bought another mainboard from an UE39F5370. Hope this will solve my problem.

"after a few minutes" you say? Try to disable Watchdog in service menu

The second mainboard (UE39F5370) works fine after changing the display type. Maybe the other is just "not working".
