motion blur

I got a new tv model number ua40ku6000 and it seems to drop frames and fast moving objects on the screen like watching a 1950 black and white movie.
It seems to go away when you turn on game mode but the quality of the picture in this mode seems to be sacrificed.
Other than that im happy with it, but im guessing this is cause the processor is under powered and post processing taxes the frame rate or something like that.
I talked the shop and they said they have never had any one complain of this before, am i just going mad?
I was happly using a la40b550 up until the kids broke the screen but i would far rather have my old tv back, as all i do now is look for the stutter and it distracts me from actually watching tv.
