Hi everyone

My Samsung has updated itself to fw 1470.3. this wasn't a problem until I found an issue with CEC

It seems that when I change source to Kodi, CEC commands are failing to pass through from my TV remote. I have to now drop down the source options to activate anytime+ CEC in order to get my TV remote to control Kodi which is running on a pi2

Can I downgrade this fw?
Anyone else got issues with 1470?

CEC is broken. Anyone successfully downgraded for 1470.3?
Has anyone raised this with Samsung? I raised a request for a call via the TV but will now chase

I tried downgrading with 0000 firmware version from the forum but without success, TV does not see update on USB (probably 0000 is blocked now)

0000 not works, block updates on router

HDMI-CEC is a standard and the standard commands must work if the TV has HDMI-CEC listed as a feature. You can remind Samsung support about this fact, but I doubt they care.

How can they release an update and not rectify such an important feature which is now broken. I will call Samsung tomorrow.

You guys talk about CEC is broken.
Have you only tried it with kodi?
Or are also other CEC connections broken, as ps4 xbox etc.

I guess rather that samsung tries to block kodi!

Did you try reinit CEC connection? Disconnect all device and again add using HDMI CEC.
