I want change the mainboard from may UE46es8090.

Actually I found a used one, from an UE55es8090.

Is it Identical? Does that work?

Better make research by mainboard model (bn94-*) or design (bn41-*) rather than TV model, but it should be ok, at least it should "fit" (assuming the question was about M/B size )

this one i could by a hole tv with a broken panel.
I searched a lot but couldnt find anything identical what is not to expensive.

Well, can't tell you better, let's say there are 99% chances it will work, if replacement mainboard is not broken as well

I'll try it. Only want to hear its possible or anybody knows that cant work.
If there is a chance, i will try.

If you can enter in Service menu of your board write down somewhere on paper or take a photos/videos of all settings (type, front color etc.....)and then put them in your new mainboard.

I bought a Mainboard, I changed it. It seems to work.
No Freezing, No Restarting.

I tried to make Pictures from the Settings with the old Mainboard. But because of freezing and starting again, this was not as easy as i thought.
So I want first to try the new Board.

Maybe anyone has the Settings to an UE46ES8090 Germany, i have to do?? Otherwise I could build in the old Mainboard and try to make pictures of the old setting. But I think this would be take more than one Day.

No you don't have to restore any setting since it's same model, new mainboard has its own (and same) ones. Possible panel size will be reported wrong but it's just here for info anyway.

It is only nearly the same Model. The Mainboard is from a UE46es7090 and my TV is the UE46es8090.
I think the only technical difference is the name, an the dimming.

Well maybe check "UE40ES8000, T-ECPDEUC-2003.4" from there, IIRC it's precisely an es7090 tweaked to es8090, you still can compare (btw, the '..90' is specific to German models and doesn't change anything about features...)
