Since some weeks I have a little problem:

my LE32C650 is rooted and works with samygo and uses a nfs share on my NAS via virtual usb port. When I opened a movie, watched some minutes and stopped it, I was able to go back to the movie folder and a) I see a little preview image on this movie in the list and b) when starting the movie again I could use the blue button to skip to the position I stopped.

This works fine with movies on an usb stick for now. It works on older movies on the nfs share, too.

But for newer / not seen until now movies both do not work anymore. No preview image, no skip to last position. When I open an older movie and go to a new position, these in this very movie is saved by the mediaplayer for the next start. But not for new movies.

And I do not think it is an issue with a new movie file format or so, because I have some older episodes (from the same source and show) on my nfs share, were I have not seen all of them. The allready-seen work fine, the not-seen-until-now do not work. (so I assume both have the same avi format and so on).

Maybe your movie database is fullfilled? I do not remmember where exactly on c series it exists, need to do some forum research...

but one little question before: is this movie database seperated for different sources? As I said: put an usb stick on the tv, all works fine.

OK, this was the only suitable way:

0 - Make sure you record all your settings if you have fine-tuned your TV.
Write them down or take pictures of the various screens.
1 - Press the Source Button on the TV remote control and select TV.
2 - Hold down the Exit Button on the TV remote control until you get a message saying ?Reset all settings back to default values".
3 - Press OK to confirm the message, and the TV will turn off.
4 - Turn TV back on and proceed with the Initial Setup Process.

Unfortunately they do not say, that tv hack will be gone, too

Took me 2 hours to make all work again.

Problem: There a too many howtos for hacking the C-series.

and got: failed to receive file from usb...

I was very desperate, because I have no ExLink cable.

So I made it all from the beginning, every single step precisely as described. No old files from further attempts. all from the scratch with this howto:

and here "Installation. What to do if... TV is not hacked" NOT "TV is already hacked" because I lost telnet access, too.

Be aware of the subnote:

If you lost the hack and try to rehack and get message "failed to receive file from usb..." Try this
Copy channel list to usb and rename it as zip file
Add the directory usb_mount with the file 1.txt in it
Add this directories (only directories no file): network_opt/usr/sbin/usb_mount
rename the file in scm.
re-hack using this channel list.

make this in point 9-10.
