Decrypting.srf recordings on J-series

Hi everyone
I am a novice here, please bear with me...
My Samsung is UE32J6275XXE. On a Windows 10 PC, I have converted some recorded .srf files into ts format. They are not recognized, I am assuming because of encryption. From this forum I understand that SamyGo PVRDecoder is the solution . However, the TV must be rooted first. HOW IS THIS DONE on a J - series? Could someone please direct me to some basic instructions, sort of "rooting for dummies?" Including some DON'TS, as I very much wouls appreciate not crashing my TV.
