Hey,

I want to control my Samsung TV (UE55KU6179) over the network. Like switch channel, adjust volume and turn off.
My TV has the following ports open:

Code: Select all

nmap -p 1-65535 192.168.0.6

PORT STATE SERVICE
7676/tcp open imqbrokerd
7678/tcp open unknown
8000/tcp open http-alt
8001/tcp open vcom-tunnel
8002/tcp open teradataordbms
8080/tcp open http-proxy
8187/tcp open unknown
9119/tcp open unknown
9197/tcp open unknown
9999/tcp open abyss
10443/tcp open unknown
15500/tcp open unknown
I know that github I saw a few project that all use port 55000. Which Is not open on my samsung tv and it is also not working when I use 15500 instead.

Any ideas ?

Right now im also trying to get some more infos about my ue44k6079, the list with the opend ports looks similar to yours. But right now i only know that on some samsung tvs you can use one of the headphone jacks as an serial port.

It exists only on high end K (>=7000) and it's not "one of the headphone jacks" since these TVs have NO headphone jack :D
Same kind of plug though, but labeled Exlink.

try to install beta app smartview for android and do sniff on the network...
there is a remote control in that app.. like channel change, also touchpad mouse...
