Hi guys,
thank you for your work.
I'm trying to connect my pc to a Samsung ES6500 series tv using "service" port. I have made a "COM > Jack 3.5" cable as showed here:
https://wiki.samygo.tv/images/4/49/Img.jpg and I'm following this guide:
https://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php?title= ... u_settings but when I start PuTTY I obtain a lot of garbage code that is unreadable; also it isn't possible to unlock the console using these codes:

How can I solve this problem?
Thank you again

could you please attach screenshoot with garbage? Garbage usually means 1) you have chosen wrong connection settings, e.g. speed. 2) your cable is wrong.

It's possible to connect an ES series tv via "COM (DB9) > Jack 3.5mm", without use MAX232 or DKU-5? I have made a "COM > Jack 3.5" cable as showed here:

Thank you

As I have asked before to "juusso", it's possible to connect an ES series tv via "COM (DB9) > Jack 3.5mm", without use MAX232 or DKU-5?

No, you need TTL. I saw the picture, I did it myself, and I confirm you did cable for J/K series

Ok, thank you.
So I need to realize a "DKU-5 > jack 3.5" cable as showed here:
