Hello everyone!

I'm preparing my b650 to replace DVB-T/C tuner with T/C/S one. I should make some changes in service menu before i physically replace tuners. I mean i should change tuner type from "alps" to "semco TCS". But before i'll do this, i want to backup old "service settings". And the question is as in subject. How can i backup mentioned above settings? Is it a special file on RW area, or maybe should i dump one of the eeproms on motherboard?

Do somebody know?
Thanks in advance.

It's inside an external EEPROM probably connected to I2C bus. I don't know which EEPROM though. It may be dumped using i2c-tools package for linux (i2detect/i2cdump). Beware though, it may be dangerous to play with i2c bus devices from what I've read and the manual of i2c-tools. I also noticed there is already i2c* devices into /dev/ . There must be some built in function to load service menu settings from eeprom / save setting to EEPROM into exeDSP but i didn't search inside it.
Maybe you can locate EEPROM using high res picture: http://rapidshare.com/files/282700857/S ... ctures.zip
