Cant login in Smart Hub after firmware downgrade

Im trying to follow the guide "Rooting the ES-series", but when I am supposed to create an account or to login into Smart Hub i get the network error message "Cant connect to server, Try Again". There is nothing wrong with the network.This happened after the firmware downgrade. Is there a solution to get pass this step?
