Samsung H-Series 'Hospitality' TV - Can it be reflashed?

Hi, i have a Curved screen Samsung H-8000 (it says on the box) Hospitality tv that i won for a reduced price last year. However it's severely limited in functionality.
The smart hub is only configurable in the 'service' screen and is incredibly limited in what can be installed. There's not even a login option for a samsun
g account.

Although i could be mistaken i'm sure that this is a normal retail specification set with a crippled firmware installed. Can i install a normal retail version firmware?

I've spoken to samsung on a few occasions and they tell me that the tv is manufactured as a hospitality tv and cannot be reflashed to make it as a normal set.

Could any of you boffins out there either confirm or deny this please?

Many thanks in advance

Wow, samsung is an asshole
Try "downgrading" by flashing a new firmware
