HT-D6750W no more possibility to change firmware

Hi
i am little confused about information here so iam asking directly. Is it really true that in thist time is fake dns not working so it is not any way how to downgrade firmware (i have HTB-D6500EUB-1023.1 or 2015/05/20_001023) on my HT-D6750W ?
