Hi folks,
I am new to this forum so be gentle.
My LE40A567P2W had the mainboard (BN41-01022C )faulty...I think. Can I replace it with another one (BN41-01022D) from another model LE37A626A3M ? They look identical. This is the one I want to buy https://www.ebay.com/itm/Samsung-LE37A6 ... ctupt=true
Thank you in advance for anyone willing to respond

Big success rate as the difference is only last letter. Sure i cant give 100 percent, but i bet it will work out of the box.

I received the replacement board BN41-01022D. Now it is booting (kind of). I see the backlight staing on until I turn it off again. Where is the eeprom located so I can try bypassing the settings?
This is my board https://forum.samygo.tv/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=12606
Thanks

I managed to see the image by trying different Type settings in Service Menu, but the image looks cropped and duplicated and the only OSD Resolution accepted is 1366x768 instead of 1920x1080 like it should. If I select 1920x1080 the horisontal lines are offset and I can't distinguish the image, is all messed up. Any suggestions?

I tried factory reset several times, but is the same. I can try copying the eeprom data from old board and write to the new board, but I don't know which eeprom IC is the one . Should I copy the content from all 6-7 eeprom and paste it to the new board?

I think you have to set proper Type value. Try to chose one by one. I can`t tell you which chip is eeprom chip, write down all 8-pin chips and look for ATMEL or smth similar.
