Custom firmware for the ES5500? (UK, 2012)

We have a UE46ES5500 (UK).
Earlier today, we updated the firmware from 002010 to 002015.
No idea what the firmware update changed but it made us wonder if there were any custom firmware floating around.
Is anyone able to help?
