Since my TV UHD 4K 55 RU7450 2019 received 1401 update a few week ago my Denon AV no longer works with the TV, I select receiver in sound settings but it switches back to TV speakers as i come out of the menu. Is this a bug? Has worked fine until this update, very disappointed that firmware gets released without fully testing.

What can i do to resolve this?

IS THERE ANY NEW FIRMWARE? I've seen model string: T-MSMUABC 1409 build date: 2022-09-27 around... but i guess it will not work for my TV model

Never upgrade firmware before you know it's "improvements.....¨
try this
SpoilerShow
1st. block updates and wait for others to do it.
2nd. "reset hdmi connections"
disconnect all hdmi sources and deactivate anynet+ in menu.
then power off your tv from socket and wait for about 10 minutes.
3rd. activate anynett+ (hdmi-cec, ......) and start from 0 reconnecting one by one all hdmi sources from 0
