USAGE

- Attach empty fat32 USB (min 2Gb) to TV, do not unplug it until TV reboot (can take up to few hours, but usualy procedure takes about 20 min).
- Go to [Content Library Manager] -> [My Contents] -> [Children]

Image

- You can run it from: [Menu] -> [Source list] -> [USB] -> [Content Library] -> [My Contents] -> [Children]
- Run DumpMaker

- TV stops to respond to RC, it is normal. Procedure info is visible on TV screen. Do not power off TV!
- Wait until you see ContentLibrary back.
- You find log files on USB, do not delete it.
- On root of USB you find dumps. Keep safe, might you need it later :)
-Sometimes it is required up to 3hours to get full dump. Be patient. But average time is les than 20 min (depends from TV model and USB speed)

Thanks.
It's really required program.
We needed to advice all users to use it before hacking their TV's.
And it's also good to generate md5 of dumps to avoid corruptions.

I`m sorry. T-CHL5DEUC isn`t supported, because of other partition structure...
Sure, here isn`t any bml tool on board and to make dumps i have to rewrite script.
I understand, tha some US models (egUNB8000) are not fuly dumped even it has content library.

crubio,

it is enought to have bml0/1-bml0/9 dumps to succsessfully restore bricked TV. All other partitions are good to have, but not very necessary.
I should change app to have full dump of your TV...

Could you please confirm you get to TOP Debug menu?
If yes, please execute:

Code: Select all

mv /mtd_rwarea/Version_0_SIG /mtd_rwarea/Version_0_SIG_copy
mv /mtd_rwarea/Version_1_SIG /mtd_rwarea/Version_1_SIG_copy
and reboot TV. Check your SoftwareUpgrade window. Is curent firmware visible?
