you have to make exlink cable and format your mtd_rwarea . After you finish you can hack TV again.

No, here isn`t any other way to format /mtd_rwarea and i think cable from your link should be ok.

According sxematic and item description on e-bay,
You have solder pins of your adapter:

with pins on VGA:
Tx- 4
Rx -11
Ground - 5.6.7.8+case
You could add power from another USB or external source.
