You have better to enter "Service Menu". Afaik, you can change it from there (or not?).

Don't know A series menu But advice to look at every hole on Service menu... Can't help you since I don't have A series TV. Wish you have success.
Don't know but there might be a TOP debug menu for A series too...

Never tried to disassemble A series firmware but I heard that there is no Debug symbols in exeDSP binary...

I think it's on firmware developers distro.
I guess that just include country list. So doesn't important.
You needed to force TV to PAL mode, Country setting is not important for you since it's hacked...

I mean that, it tels if that country has PAL sys nor not...
Firmware developers distro means that that file is available on developer's OS. Not available on your tv. that /home/username... structure used in PC linuxes. I don't think if you could find that file. Might be available at sources, if samsung open those but I think they dont.
