We do not work on T-TD5AUSC firmware. But it's trident platform and I guess it's compatible with . I guess you could use current trident hacks.
You cannot use some USB dongles at hand because they needed their drivers installed.

Just try to follow current trident hacks and look if they are running on your TV or not.
Use search on forum pages and wiki about trident hacks.
Specially C series Software forum is good to search (look at TDT threads!)

It looks like your cable works not properly. Check it. Use UTF-8 encoding (Translation) for your putty session.

Strange, that you use code from B series (1198282) to get to debug menu and it works!
