I think there is some problem on 100Mbit port detection on your router.

Yes it could work with other 100Mbit switches.
But if it fails for specific device, I sue router because it needed to handle compatibility.
I don't have Gbit router so don't test it before.
But if you wonder what's going on, root your router and inspect kernel logs about problem.

It's good to analyze from your Router and TV(with WiFi or with SamyGO Console app.)
