You need to downgrade your firmware first. Use FFB or Activate Alternative Firmware - depends from your firmware on alternative partition. If you have had previous firmware version (e.g 2005.1 or 2004.0) and you recently upgraded it to 3000.2 then it is enought to activate alternative firmware. But if you do not know if there was firmware before, you have to use FFB.
